Lynn, Thanks, I can always count on you to lift me up after being let down. One thing for sure is I still haven't gotten my moneys worth for all the music loops and samples I paid for, so next year I will be doing a little of both and trying to mix things up. Should be an interesting adventure next year for sure. You have a Blessed and Merry Christmas. Peace and Blessings, John

John, Much better in stereo. See, ya thought I was out of my tree, didn't ya? :) I noticed you mentioned in a post to Lynn that he "picked you up after being let down". I'm hoping my post wasn't something that was negative or a letdown. I know that James had made a mention of something similar regarding the loops etc. Please keep in mind, when we listen to your awesome songs that are made by you without the loops, you've spoiled us and the looped songs (though I completely understand your reasoning and feelings) just don't compare. I'm hoping you take that as a compliment because it sincerely is meant to be one. :) I know you probably weren't really looking for a critique so forgive me if anything I've said past or present has upset you. I just felt that with such good creativity, you may want to be a little more selective when gluing your loops together as well as which ones you select. If they sound like 4 songs that do not have proper segue's, it takes away from the beauty and smoothness of what makes a good arranged song, a good arranged song. At any rate, I still like the sound of this and it has way more impact in stereo. I know it's for a video and is a work in progress, but I hope you'll at least entertain a little of what I'm saying here. Having done quite a bit of this sort of thing in my time, I can't stress how important smooth segue's need to be in order to maintain impact during video...especially action sequences. Best of luck with everything.....Merry Christmas. -Danny

Danny, No, it wasn't anything you or James said, as I get all of that stuff. And you are right on the smooth merging together of the loops. I try my best to get them right for the time being, at least close to smooth, but once I have the video material, this will be all broken up and used (hopefully) smooth as silk (well, maybe!!). I always appreciate all of your comments as to making things sound their best, after all, that is what it is all about. There was a problem on the stereo with my giving windows permission to transfer my files, but that is now straightened out, so stereo is back in and hopefully all of my pieces will sound right now. Had you not said anything, I may have never noticed it, so thank you so much. Have a great and wonderful Christmas. Peace and Blessings, John
