Almost anything is better than shopping.  Unless I'm in a music store or a computer store, I'm the cranky 3 year old being dragged across the floor by his mommy screaming, "No!  I don't want to go shopping!  Waahhh!"

My wife hates that.

I just realized that the only place I've heard that classic Red-Tailed Hawk screech --the stereotypical one that's in movies whenever they show the desert-- was when I was in the middle of Central Park.  I live in the west, and I've been in the desert a lot, but it took me being in the middle of Manhattan before I head that sound live. 

CP is really a cool place.
