A-PRO 800 SERIOUS PROBLEM help!
Hi ! guys！I have a problem with my A-PRO 800 as follows:
1.ERROR
VER.5.535
[ENTER]
2.ERASE ?
[L9]
3.SURE
[L3]
4.PLEASE SEND SMF.
Restart go back to the 1.
Any guys still have the apro_sys_v115.zip（P00001.mid）？
this link has been shut down.I can't downlond form it anymore.

Hi...I have recently bought this controller keyboard and the aftertouch is very hard to trigger, you really need to push down hard on it to get any response.
Pushing down on the end of the key means you are close to snapping the keys off before you get a response, pushing down in the middle of the key brings the easiest ( but still hard ) response.
I used to own a Fantom X and then a V-Synth GT and they too had pretty hard to trigger aftertouch responses but not as bad as the A-800 Pro.
Is this a typical trait of Roland aftertouch or have I just been unlucky?

Hi guys, I'm in dire need of the apro_sys_v115.zip file myself. My A-800PRO hit the dreaded error screen and I cannot find this file anywhere.

Hi...I have recently bought this controller keyboard and the aftertouch is very hard to trigger, you really need to push down hard on it to get any response.
Roland aftertouch has a reputation for being very stiff and difficult to use. I've an A-300 and can't get the aftertouch to more than 100 if I put most of my weight on the board. And I am not slim.
Sonar Platinum 64bit, Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit, I7 3770K Ivybridge, 16GB Ram, Gigabyte Z77-D3H m/board, ATI 7750 graphics+ 1GB RAM, 2xIntel 520 series 220GB SSDs, 1 TB Samsung F3 + 1 TB WD HDDs, Seasonic fanless 460W psu, RME Fireface UFX, Focusrite Octopre. Assorted real synths, guitars, mandolins, diatonic accordions, percussion, fx and other stuff.

I completely agree. It's insane that these files aren't more readily available. You can find the SMF Update app (PC and OSX), but nothing to send to your controller. Even if you were to take this to a repair shop, they wouldn't be able to help you.
The P00001.mid file worked and fixed my issue instantly. I strongly urge any A-Pro owners to keep this file on their computer just-in-case. To anyone having this issue in the future (I found this wonderful forum through Google), register and reply here. I'll gladly help anyone, just like Sixfinger did for me. (I'm subscribed to this thread, so I'll get e-mail notifications from here on out.)

All of the downloads for the A-PRO controllers such as the Sonar control surface plugin and drivers are still available at the Roland site, except for the SMF file mentioned earlier in this thread.
