I got nothing here either. I logged on to the addictive account and looked. I found nothing.

When I purchased X3 I downloaded the addictive drums and quickly set the account up. I have been using addictive drums on a few projects but I never went back to the AD web site to look around.

When I seen this post I logged in and started to look for the third party stuff and I found nothing. I started searching around to see if there was anything else that could be offered for free from this site.

I found a Pop Rock add on pack for free and a Funky Groves add on pack for free. I also found an additional bass drum called DW woofer. This is a monster kick drum. I like it.

When I clicked on the add on packs to download an error came up that said I could not add this to my account because AD did not have my zip code or mailing address. When I setup my account with AD I only provided an email address.

I went into my account at AD and added all the missing information except my phone number. Those free add on midi packs immediately became available. I downloaded those as well as the free Studio Grand Piano.

I am not sure but maybe the reason I can not see the third party plugs was because my account was not completely filled out. Maybe somebody can clarify this.

I will check back in a day or two to see if nectar is available. There is no Third Party Products category available in my account. I did scroll all the way down.

Shark that is exactly what I see too. however you should go back to the site and get the two free midi add on beats. Pop Rock, and Funky Groves. If you had them they would be highlighted in this list like Addictive Drums is highlighted. Also try the free DW kit piece. (The bass drum)

They will be highlighted in this list when they are added to your account. The additional beats are worth the time to download IMHO.

Look at Nectar from Isotope. Licence included. (At least with xln Adictive keys)

Ok that explains it. I wonder How many people that got the free Nectar elements also purchased the Addictive Keys?

I don't see anything but AD and AK, both of which I have.   So there's nothing on my account page other than those, similar to Sharke's image (except I have the first three AK icons).   On the main product page the only free thing I see is the DW Woofer kit piece.    I can't seem to locate the 3rd party page either.

So how exactly are you guys navigating to see Nectar and/or the AD Packs?

That is the main product page I was on.  And then DUH! - I see the two free MIDI Packs nestled in the middle.  I wonder how many more times I would have scanned that page and still not seen them...

Thanks!

Heh,

I really liked the the free studio grand that you can get at XLN, so I decided to upgrade to the full studio grand (had some fundage laying around at paypal ) - and they treated me to Nectar Elements.

For those wanting more info about the two midi packs that are offered for free this is what Addicitvie Drums says about them.

Pop Rock MIDI Pak

This MIDI Pak contains 170 MIDI grooves in a Pop / Rock style.
15 Bread'n'Butter beats with six variations each, recorded in different tempos and feels for all of you who like to keep it simple.
20 Build-ups in different arrangements and tempos, great for intros.
And 40 Tom Grooves in different variations and tempos.

Funky Grooves MIDI Pak

This MIDI Pak is exactly what it says, Funky! If you need to get that funky old school RnB feeling on your tracks, this is the MIDI Pak you've been looking for. A must have for all the groovers out there. 100+ MIDI grooves in different tempos and styles. A perfect match for the DW Kitpiece Paks. Intros, tom grooves and beats in many different variations and tempos.

Okay... these are free... and when I opened the installer, I saw a banner ad fly by offering a free version of AD and AK-Studio Grand... I clicked it and the link was bad.... BUT...

If you log into your account, and look at all products, then click on the "Studio Grand" there is, in fact, a free version of it available. I just installed all of the above. The "free" studio grand was a 540Mb download! (It had to install Addictive Keys to install the studio grand, so have yet to see what I got).

Edit: The free studio grand is 8 default banks of data.

No frustration here, Alex baby, except with your attitude. The fact that you thought my comment was born out of frustration is very telling. Just chill out a little, or you'll end up throwing another hissy fit and leaving the forum forever again. ;)
