jb101 I've just received an email from XLN. "The current promotions are: "Buy Addictive Drums, get a free copy of Peavey Revalver HPse" and "Buy Addictive Keys, get a free copy of iZotope Nectar Elements". Those promotions started on the November 25th officially, but we have backdated them so that they are retroactively added to your account if you have registered an Addictive Drums or Addictive Keys license after the 1st of November."
I must have registered just before Nov 1st. I got X3 right when it came out. I guess I was too quick lol :-)

I upgraded to X2 Sept. 28th...so those of us who upgraded when it came out evidently do not get the extras from XLN. As far as the Addictive Keys goes...lots of us bought the AD Promo Pak Musician's Friend had for $29 which includes all three pianos. The only thing it didn't include was the Electric Grand. I was fully impressed with the sounds of the pianos in the Promo Pak. Very well worth the price we paid. Though I would like to have gotten the Nectar Elements offer :( .

I just got this. The "Addictive Keys" doesn't include the Electric Grand, and I nabbed the Nectar Elements while the AK downloaded. I just bought my first ever condenser mic with my new audio interface about a month ago, and because my voice has strong overtones in it I was experiencing a rather steep learning curve with it. Nectar Elements seemed to cure 75% of the issues I was having just using presets... so this may become my new "best friend" vocally.

Now that i know what happened, it doesn't bother me at all. It sucks to think if i had waited 3 more weeks to buy AK, I would have Nectar elements free, but then again I would have paid more for it, so it balances out.

Since I probably wouldn't have spent the extra $70 for Nectar anyway at this point, I'm also good with the $29 version of AK.

Ah, found them now. I was looking in my account before, not the main site's product page. Cool :-)

I very much appreciate the heads-up on this! Owning and knowing EZDrummer and Superior Drummer, I hadn't downloaded & installed X3's Addictive Drums. News of the freebies prompted me to go ahead and create an account...and sure enough, downloads for Revalver HPse and Nectar Elements appeared automatically in my brand new account. Nectar Elements, in particular, is powerful. Thanks again for spreading the word here on the Sonar Forum.

You should though! Superior 2 is my goto drumpler, but I find all the useful presets within Addictive very fun and inspiring to play with. The 'Vintage Dry' ADpak is unlike any other sample set I've got and my favorite toy lately!

Interesting, of course, Nectar is not Nectar Elements (which is in my XLN account). Did XLN really swap out the free Necter Elements for a trial version of the full Nectar? That would not make sense anyone can download the trial directly from iZotope without going through XLN.

Lyn, I could be very wrong on this, but I too read what you are saying ,and the way I took that was, that if you did not register that it would be a trial. If you register with the number supplied in your XLN account that you would have a full functioning version of Nectar Elements. Mind you not the full version of Nectar which now has a harmony section in it that looks pretty sweet. I guess I'll find out in 10 days and report back to let you know. The Revalver SE that I downloaded over a month ago still works.
