Trying. Some folks were ridiculing me because I thought this might've happened with Addictive Drums, but this is exactly the kind of thing I meant. I hope they'll agree to refund or something.

I just got an e-mail from Celemony with an upgrade offer to Melodyne Editor from the X3-bundled Melodyne Essential for USD/€149.

Me too. Audiodeluxe cancedlled my order - so I got the upgrade from Celemony. €149 isn't very much cheaper than $209 though. I really wanted to pay in $ rather than € ($149 is less than €149 when you translate into ££ GBP) - but it seems like Euros was my only choice. The email link takes you straight in to your "basket" so I guess Europeans can't pay with dollars (damn!)


Anyway - it's still a good price ;-)
 

I didn't get the email so emailed Celemony directly. They sent me the link and now I have Editor. €149. Just a little better than the €299 as quoted on the Celemony website! I'm happy.

Yeah.. I purchased an update to Assistant (€99) before we got the info about the discount. (I did ask about a conformation about this rumour of a discount for days here at the forum, but didn't get an answer and that's why I did the purchase). Only one hour after my purchase the word started spreading here about the discount of upgrading from Essential to Editor for €149.. -.-
 
I contacted Celemony and told them about my situation. They were very helpful and offered me to upgrade from Assistant to Editor and that they'd refund the price difference, so the total amount of my upgrade to Editor would become €149 :)

Thanks djoni. I wondered how much it was (USD). I was planning to buy Melodyne Editor 2 and this really makes it a no brainer for me! LOL

I tried to upgrade Melodyne and it grabbed my lisence from X3 and gave me an upgrade price of 299.00 USD.
I have been waiting for my AMEX to drop so I could put it on this cycle but not for 299.00, I thought there was some sort of deal. Was I istaken or is 299.00 a deal... sorry, but I cannot take the deal.
Is there something I can do. If there IS a deal and it expires on 10/30... well I do nt want to miss it.
 
Someone? Anyone?? A litte help...

My deal ran out on the 16th october. I tried to buy it on the 15th but it wouldnt give me the discounted price so i emailed them asking if there was a problem with my account  and they replied saying 'here is a link to the special upgrade for sonar users. It will be valid throughout oct/nov 2013'.
It seems that link is a general and not a personal one so im sure its ok to try it at least as you have to sign in to your celemony account directly from that link anyway in order to see the price.
