This Ozone 8 (standalone & plugin), is a fairly phenomenal piece of kit. It's deffo worth checking out. I also have Wavelab Elements 9.5. And, after a certain point you have to think, what else do I need, and what else can the manufacturers add anymore?

Win10 64-bit. Intel i7QuadCore 4.20GHz. 32Gb Ram. Sonar Platinum.

I have SF Studio but rarely use it.  I have Goldwave and that is my "go to" Audio Editor.
About the only thing I've used, a few times, in SF Studio is the add on app to remove vocal from a song.  It works so-so.

Cactus Music
I have a collection of Wave Editors and each has it's attributes.

Top of my list is Wave Lab Elements 7 which I use for top & tail and mastering and just about anything that involves recording and editing a stereo wave file.

Hey Johnny that's a good tip.  I forgot all about that one!

I see that Musician's Friend has Wavelab Elements 9.5 listed for $99, but if you are on their mailing list they have been sending out coupons lately for 20% off purchases of $99 or more.  Something to consider for $80...

Yes I paid $99 Can from a local music store. I saw no benifit in buying the full version for me.
And because Wave Lab shares Plug ins you can use most everything you have on hand.

As I said it's the best workflow for me because those tools are only one mouse click and your done, Really important if you go through a live recording , like from my Tascam DR 40, and want to kill a bunch of peaks before you apply limiting. Open Gain tool set value Highlight, hit the gain tool, highlight, hit the gain tool. on and on.
In all the others I've tried this would require. highlight, menu, sub menu open tool, reset the value now hit. Sure some have keyboard shortcuts but your always going to have to re set the value.
