Hi Frank, Just listened to the new mix....love the bump on the accordion levels. Just a fantastic production all around. Any chance you'd let us in on some of the technical details? Entirely ITB?.... what mic's, pre's and comps? Real drums or a sampled kit? Real bass git or sampled? Same question about the piano? Dean

Freddy J Not only are you putting out a bunch of new stuff but it is all really great stuff. Stellar job on this number Frank. I have to agree with Robby that your vocals are terrific on this number and you keep setting the bar really high for the rest of us on this forum. Freddy J I'm glad it sounded ok to you... I was kinda' going for a Levon Helm vibe... but I may re-sing that first line for a broader appeal... I don't know... I loved Levon... RIP... Great stuff Frank! Very polished and well performed. I just love the guitar tone on this one. The middle lead is just amazing! This one could be in radio rotation right now....and I mean that in a good way.

Loved it Frank. I'm glad I listened to this. A wonderful song in a genre that I seldom find myself listening to. Having said that I loved it!

Excellent Frank. Outstanding mix. As a nitpick IMO the vocals are just a bit brittle and could use a bit of warmth.

Fantastic song and production Frank, this really is a fine piece of work. Topped off with an utterly beautiful guitar break..wow. You should send this to Van Morrison, it would fit him to a tee. Hard to get across the admiration I have for songwriting like this.

I'm a huge fan of the the man... do you know AnyWay I can? I caught his set at the New Orleans Jazz Fest way back in '96... Georgie Fame was playin' with him then... Didn't get to see him this year...

We had "a super moon" Saturday night/Sunday AM. The moon was at Perigee and it was full... http://www.lunarplanner.com/LunarPerigee/index.html It was spectacular... I'm glad you were able to enjoy it. "signs in the sky... wars and rumors of wars..." Get ready? It comes...

Really nice, Frank.... a bit more twang to your guitar than normal, and a really "moaning" guitar solo. - Love the accordion! Really fine production. Thanks for sharing! It's nice to hear you play in a multitude of styles so proficiently.

There! After I was able to open Daryl's link I came back and pried yours open. I love the song and production as usual. I especially love how the band comes in to join the accordion in the intro. The lead guitar licks and tone are exceptionally fine. Great work, Frank!
