Thanks for checking in! I appreciate your feedback, it's much appreciated. It's nice to know that I was at least somewhat successful with this song. I was really unsure about it before I posted, but now after getting all of this great feedback I think it's possible that there's something here that's worth developing. You guys are all great thanks so much!

I usually go right for the tune and then come back and read the info then comment. My immediate impression was nice vocals-they have some nice up front clarity, however the back seemed just a tad wet-just a tad (don't ask me how much a tad is).  The second thing that hit me was it had a definite British vibe, and, of course, my mind went immediately to the Beatles-definitely Lennon...definitely (spoken in my best Dustin Hoffman rain man voice).

I think this is a well done tune, and I dig the channeling, but don't go too far, because a good exorcist is hard to find-awfully busy these days I suppose with all the demons about and Halloween just around the corner. Believe me I know, as I'm still trying to shake off the ghost of David Gilmour, who to my amazement is still around with us-thank God!

Well, I can't say enough about your tune. I enjoyed it, felt it, and conclude you are in fact John Lennon, which leaves me confused as to who I should say goodbye too.

:)
Dean.

Speaking as an exorcist I have indeed been busy.

I've always wondered where the spirits go after they've been chased away. I suspect the Poconos.

I like it!  I'm not liking the Band in a Box backing track but yeah, you can plainly hear that this is a good song.  Love your description too.  It made me laugh.  Great guitar tone and riffs.

Thanks for listening, John, I appreciate it! If you don't like the BIAB backing track then you're hearing exactly what I'm hearing. :)

Kevin - One can't really critique the mix on a BIAB track, but this is a good song, and if you rerecorded it as Kevin I think it would turn out a lot better than this. As it is, it's a pretty good Lennon, although I'm hearing it more as a George Harrison song sung by Lennon. After two listenings I don't know what it's about, but that's OK. I still don't know what some of his Beatles songs are about. Because I think you should do it over, I won't say anything about the lead guitar or the hyperdramatic drum buildups into... the next line.

Thanks for the feedback, Larry. Please feel free to critique the lead work, since I can't really blame BIAB for that, it's all mine such as it is. The hyper-dramatic drum leadins I'm happy to say fall squarely on BIAB's shoulders.
