Apply MIDI Effects - doesn't work. Can someone double check please?
In piano roll view. Select some notes to apply MIDI effects. After selecting (notes go darker), choose from the main menu Process/Apply Effect/MIDI Effect. When I do this 'MIDI Effect' is greyed out, i.e. not available. This used to work ok in 8.5.3. but in X1 I can't make this option available at all, e.g. by selecting notes, clips or even tracks. Could someone check this out for me before I submit to CW? Thanks. John

Thanks cwig! Should've checked.... Now, that really is a feature which was totally straightforward in 8.5.3 and has been made ridiculously convoluted in X1. The other thread shows the poster was happy with right clicking the clip, which is fine. But in 8.5.3 you could 'lasso' (select) groups of notes in the PRV and open MIDI processing - X1 won't do that.
