Audio tempo and pitch bend

Hi, any idea how to bend the pitch and tempo of audio in Sonar X1 Producer? I'm trying to create a vinyl effect at the end of a track (pitch and tempo decrease gradually until dying away altogether, like the slowing down of a turntable until it stops), and then opposite for the following track (as if the turntable starts working again). Any idea?

Many thanks! Pity my soundcard doesn't allow for routing the output to a specific inout (it only has a generic output, which isn't acepted as an input), so I'll have to mic this, but I'll get there :-)

On a related note (sorry for the hyjack), anybody how to apply a simple pitch bend (without a tempo slowdown) to a sample ?  I have a nice guitar sample I'd love to bend to get that whammy bar type effect.

You can always export a portion of your project and then import the sample into a sample based synth such as Dimention. From there you can bend as much you want :)

Melodyne? I haven't tried it for this but it seems to me you could split any note into two, move one to where you want to bend to and then adjust the transition time to taste.

Another quick and dirty option is Izotope's Vinyl plugin - https://www.izotope.com/en/products/effects-instruments/vinyl/

It's free, and the Spin Down can be controlled via an automation envelope.

I tried Vinyl, Tapestop is a LOT better. Or was for my purposes.

I've so far only used Tapestop in one project, but it did exactly what I wanted with little fuss.

But for anyone struggling with it, please read the very short manual which contains extremely useful information
