Bass: Fender Jazz bass. Dunno why people keep making other basses...

Bassist: The guy from Tower of Power. Prestia? Is that him? I believe TOP could hold a consert even without a drummer!

Oh, one more thing. Sadly, the CHB will NEVER EVER use a bass player that weird and strange.

Hi,

You haven't read the CHB's player lineup have you?

Good times! :-)

Ohhh my , you are playing the bass backwards and upside down?

Btw, I play with my right hand and my left hand frets. So, I have a problem because my left pinky is missing almost a quarter of an inch, so I'm gonna try to switch hands. I wonder if I can learn to play the bass backwards, with the strings in the wrong direction, and sure enough, it's more comfortable, and my right hand frets a lot better. (It was a nice pair of legs, I will admit, but it cost me that portion of the finger!)

Weird! I never heard of anyone switching hands! I'll make a call in about 3 months, and might have found the reason why I'm having such a hard time getting comfy with the instrument. I might actually learn to play this thing, yet! Who woulda thunk it?

My comment was directed more towards what you actually wrote (that the bass player was weird and strange), not what you meant (that the bass player plays weird and strange).

Can I ask..is there actually still a CHB, or does it only now exist in Pedro's fevered mind?

LOL!!!! Great answer!

I still want to try that Status Graphite Streamline bass. Anyone play them before? Somehow, it looks like a headless bass is for me.

I'd go for a stringless one, they're much easier on the fingers.
