Good times! :-) Ohhh my , you are playing the bass backwards and upside down? Btw, I play with my right hand and my left hand frets. So, I have a problem because my left pinky is missing almost a quarter of an inch, so I'm gonna try to switch hands. I wonder if I can learn to play the bass backwards, with the strings in the wrong direction, and sure enough, it's more comfortable, and my right hand frets a lot better. (It was a nice pair of legs, I will admit, but it cost me that portion of the finger!) Weird! I never heard of anyone switching hands! I'll make a call in about 3 months, and might have found the reason why I'm having such a hard time getting comfy with the instrument. I might actually learn to play this thing, yet!
