I wish I did backups from when I started. I have well I had quite a few songs that I did on Guitar Tracks Pro 2 back a few years ago.

Just a thought....don't forget to use the disc clean utility before you backup song folders.  No point in wasting space with bad takes.

I'm running Ghost.  Both incremental and image every night on my 2nd hard drive.  Every once and a while backup up to my external.

My plans are to get an HP home server and backup every night to it.  I am going to equip the home server with a couple of 1.5 terrabyte drives, and it will automatically backup itself to one of these - every night.  The home server will reside in my basement (being the best place in case of a tornado)

I've had too many close calls and some lost data over the years - even with strict backup practices.

I also have offsite backups at work.  But I'm not religious about it so they are not frequent.  I just like having daily backups that are automatic.
