BandLab Assistant update December 2018

Hello,
Is anyone else having difficulties applying this update? Every time I click the 'update' button, it tells me an error occurred and to try again. But when I do, nothing happens.

Is it best to just uninstall and then reinstall BandLab Assistant?

Any suggestions, anyone?

I (and many others) found just manually installing the update from https://www.bandlab.com/download/assistant/windows did the trick.

I unistalled the bandlab ass in windows. Signed out of bandlab, redownloaded bandlab ass. then rebooted. It should be easyer but this worked for me.

Same error on ‘update’ for BandLab Assistant. But it appears the update for Cakewalk by B went through without an issue. So I didn’t bother updating the assistant yet.

Sorry your having trouble, my update went very smooth.  I did need to re-authenticate when updating BL Assistant.  I was installing from last update 10-2018 version.

    Best Regards,

There's a known issue for some users updating BandLab Assistant version 3.3 which came out a couple weeks ago. Version 3.2 will update correctly to the new version (4.0), however in either case if you run into any trouble, downloading Assistant directly from here will allow you to install successfully.

Doesn't Bandlab Assistant do that, (if your computer is online).  I keep mine offline so I don't see these notifications.

BTW, I had no difficulty updating the Assistant and then installing the newest version of CbB.

Bandlab always running on my Pc but it always says I’m up to date. So i thought there hadn’t been an update since Oct. Will have to reinstall Bandlab and see how I go.
