BandLab has Some Old Guys!

Just went back and looked at the original BandLab announcement, and the one picture of the BandLab crew actually shows a couple Old Guys!

There is a guy on the right side with GRAY HAIR! And there is another guy in the back row, center, that has GRAY in his BEARD!

There may yet be hope for us old folks after all!!!

Ha ha, you cynical s*d! I must admit to being much older than my profile pic suggests - by at least 10 years and my beard is grey :)

Splat, Win 10 64bit and all sorts of musical odds and sods collected over the years, but still missing a lot of my old analogue stuff I sold off years ago.

In software development I realized that they put everyone over 40 aside to do insignificant things (like management and of course accounting/HR). They let the unexperienced kids do the real stuff! Sorry guys, but I had to tell you the truth!

You're only as old as you feel, right? And I feel young!

On the other hand: Where the hell did I put my glasses this time (Emphasis on "this")?

And: What day is this? Oh yeah, that show on Maine Public is on, which has songs from the 20s, 30s right on up to the glorious 60s, so it must be Friday...

And so it goes (and it seems to be going faster and faster).

52 here as well. There seems to be quite a few of us 'oldish' Sonarites. Not just because it's been around 30 years. Its because you have to actually read a manual to use it.

So I'm over on the Bandlab Explore page, listening to  songs submitted by members. Judging by some of the comments I realize I ain't going to fit in over there. Things like this:

yeah bro u kilt this
good dope right here
that's sick man

Bit of a generation (or two or three) gap.

lol, naw bro, use just needs to gets down (and don't forget to get back up again . . . and soon . . . at your age . . .  knees and all that) get on the co lab bus with some dudes and pump out sum dope toons and kilt it with the peeps, it'll be sick holmes.

No offense intended with the 'at your age' and 'knees' thing, I'm 54 myself, and I already know what it's like :)
It's certainly a different place than here, but I guess if enough people from here head over there it mightn't be so bad for you, you never know, it might be like a second childhood I certainly have no desire to take part or even sign up over there, but then I jumped ship from SONAR a couple of years ago, I'm just watching all the fun from the side lines.
