Oh, that looks like fun Ken <sarcasm>....
I did the upgrade via Win 8.1 prompt (last summer) and it was the smoothest/fastest upgrade I've done......didn't have to update any drivers for ALL my software and IIRC, only had to update AD2.
What kind of "free cool toys" are you talking about? for the DAW?
