Good afternoon
My day will be spent doing a reinstall of Windows, and all that follows
My PC has been constantly been getting slower and more sluggish lately, so I think it's time..
Just outside for a breather and a cig.
Beer will have to wait until tomorrow.

Oh oh, sorry to hear that Ken.....it's a big problem for DAW work. Have you narrowed down who the culprit is? (bad RAM, power supply etc..?)

In my case I hope it's because it has been filled with sooo much different, mostly unusable stuff, and "needs a clean out"..
My CPU has been working at highish temperatures for a while, but have a new CPU cooler that keeps it at a better temp. Might be the cause.
Time will tell

That's a bit odd for it to slow down......considering you have all those SSD's? I've been wanting to get a large (500 + GB) SSD samples drive and replace my 2 old HD's.

Hope everything works out (make some backups just in case )

Thanks Mesh. Guitars are my Les Paul Standard > ancient Boss Br-8 > Focusrite 2i4. I've got many patches on the Boss unit that I've saved over the years.

The tones came out very cleanly and full (I certainly can appreciate a good tone when I hear it :). I should really try recording with my old Digitech RP12 and see how it translates......been always using amp sims since POD Farm came out, and gave up on hardware.

I've got a Digitech RP-55, but I must admit I haven't dug deep into it yet. I've been using the Boss for so long it's become 2nd nature to dial in what I want, despite the archaic hardware
