So, as I was saying, I worked out a deal with the waitress where the boss would think I was being good and not eating too much on his bill however, on the sly, I had the waitress add a few sides of becan knowing that the new boss would be too busy to look and just sign the bill (he did), be impressed with my restraint (he was) and that I'd have the free becan after he was gone (I did!).
And, on top of all of that, I just found out that our lunch meeting was billable! I'm liking this new job.
