Yes indeed, I've had that too :))....
When we make pork ribs (baby back), the Mrs. makes a very good dry rub and (I think) also used a little bit of BBQ sauce (Sweet Baby Rays) to glaze it before putting on the grill. That was the BOMB!! :))
Generally, these sauces are really only needed when we go out to eat and the meat doesn't have much flavor in it (or is dry)........at home, very little sauce (if any) is used......starts with a good cut of meat.
