There I was earlier today worried about getting enough hours of work then, about 45 minutes ago, I get a text from the company owner saying that the only other employee (his cousin actually) was quitting and would be taking a full time job closer to his home.  So I get to meet with the cousin tomorrow and try to get all the info I can about his accounts.  Here I thought I'd been dropped into the deep end a couple of weeks ago, but that was just a kiddie pond.  NOW I'm being thrown into a real deep end filled with flammable liquid and lit on fire!

Of course I'll make it work, but I can already see that I'll be saying goodbye to flexible hours and sleep for awhile!

The FSF has been unusually quiet this AM..... calm before the storm?
Having my morning coffee and a blueberry muffin to start the day (well, my daughter did make some toast & eggs for me earlier, but AM still hungry).

I'm getting ready to go meet a customer in my too-tight Dockers and way too tight shoes.  This should be interesting for about... five minutes! 
 
Due to starting only a couple of weeks ago, and needing to get worked into the mix slowly, I only have 46 hours on my MONTHLY paycheck coming.  Almost exactly what I need to BARELY survive for next month, but not enough to start getting extra things I need yet (like shoes and Dockers that fit!).  Oh well, one more month of suffering will be worth the end result (I hope!). Now that the kiddies are going back to school, maybe my friend will have some side-jobs for me to help fill in the gaps (if I even have the time to do the jobs that is!).

Hang in there bro, the light is at the end of this tunnel. It looks to be a good thing you're getting his cousin's job.....so, do your job well and in the mean time, we'll be washing away that image of you in those tight dockers.
