Yes, I am a bass player, and here are two that I have constantly looked up to and derived inspiration from over time: MICK KARN  JOHN ENTWISTLE  Both of them were unparallelled and unique, as I can only aspire to be. Both of them RIP

No embarrassment that I can see. For one thing, you're almost completely obscured by the singer. I wouldn't expect you to embarrass yourself even if the singer wasn't in the way.
