They are probably busy interviewing soon to be ex Avid employees :)

Sad for the 20% (?) losing their jobs working for the "industry standard", but quite possibly true!  As long as they follow the current direction and code well...

It is very sad and my intent was not to slam them in their hour of need. Just a little gallows humor. These days finding a job is not easy, especially as a developer as a lot of this is off shored and highly contracted ala H1B visa. I wish our friends at Avid the best and I'm sure they will turn up at other fine companies.

Windows 8 x64
Intel i7 950 3.06ghz 6 GB DDR3 1333(1066) OCZ memory

Oh, I didn't think you were at all - hence the smily face first.  It is what it is.

It's ironic that the biggest elephant in the DAW room is the one that's now slowly spiraling downward. And apparently due to mismanagement from the top, and slow development cycles that result in somewhat minor increments in new and enhanced features, all at an ever increasing premium cost.  Of course, those that are working the hardest are the ones being removed, not those making major $$ and driving the company further into the red.   Go figure.

This all makes me glad I'm on the SONAR treadmill, whatever it is and will be.  So here's to a new version of SONAR with some cool new features to keep the company up and running.  As Freddie would say, it matters!
