I'm in the camp that if you put it out there you also have to expect the negativity that comes with success.

I think it's important that the kids who comprise Britney's core audience be exposed to the fraudulent side of the entertainment industry. They don't have any basis for judging true talent because all they ever see are slickly packaged mime acts.

  I always felt that way about Santa too......IMO  Mixing art and industry  is what has caused such mass exclusion of other talents. Those who are not musically talented are under the impression that those people are a minority because industry chooses to focus on a few products(Brittany) in order to make a profit.

 In reality talented people are in ready supply just about everywhere.Sometimes a guy living right around the corner is incredibly talented and if not can be sharpened into an incredible talent in many cases. Talent isn't as exclusive as the "industry" would have us believe.

 Brittany CAN sound good under the right conditions but so can many others........

You guys are getting coal this year.  And not just any coal.  Already-been-used coal.  Some call it ash.  Mixed in with reindeer poop, courtesy of Donner and the stable-elf.  Mrs. Claus's idea.

Great!  Becan roses love that mix.

Britney and her kind are show biz. The shows are about the overall spectical, the music is second to the dancing, The vocals are second to image, the record is second to the video. They do what they do and a lot of people like it. If she can't sing without autotune, she will know it and I suspect she won't care too much because that just a small part of the show. She will concentrate on what she can do and let technology help with the rest.

I would rather be amazed by someones playing than how they can jump around, but that's me.
