[CONFIRMED] SONAR 2016.09 Bug
This has never happened to me until today, after updating to SONAR 2016.09. When I'm scrolling through tracks in the track view using the up and down arrows everything works fine until I get to a folder, once I'm in a folder's first track I get stuck and the up and down arrows do not take me to the next/previous track. If I click on a track outside of a folder, everything works again.

Update: Only happening on one project. The first one I opened after updating. All other projects fine. This project was originally created in either Sonar 8.5 or earlier. Opened other old projects, no issues. Only new thing introduced into project was several Waves Abbey Road plugins which I also installed today. Deleted them and problem still there. Problem wasn't happening in the early release version of 2016.09 as far as I remember, unless I didn't notice.

Just found the culprit! I would get stuck on any track that had the PC 4K Expander/Gate module in the ProChannel regardless of the track being in a folder or not. Can anyone else try to repro this to see if it's 2016.09 specific or not? Thanks!

Update: Once I'm stuck in a track with PC4K, SONAR doesn't respond to any keystrokes that use the arrow keys (like control + any arrow key to zoom horizontally or vertically) until I click outside of the offending track with my mouse.

I forgot those were not included in SONAR. Is there a way to get notifications for those types of updates? Or can you guys add the ProChannel modules to Command Center also, so we know there's an update?

Hi Keith, Neither of these products PC4K S-Type Expander/Gate and PC4K S-Type Channel Compressor is available in my account. I remember buying the gate, but I thought the compressor came with one of my versions of SONAR. Regardless, I tried to go the other route and go into the protected download area and it doesn't recognize me although I'm logged in. Then I tried to re-register the PC 4K and it tells me the serial number is registered to someone else. I bought it directly from you and have my email receipt with serial and registration codes. Please advise.

The PC4K-S Type Channel Compressor was bundled with the X1 Production Suite for a limited time. I am pretty sure the items in the old X1 Production Suite bundle are now separate links at the top level of user accounts. The plug-ins may have been lost during the SSO migration. Here is a link regarding migration problems http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3148924

The update is pretty old and predates the Command Center just like the original plug-ins. My understanding is all products sold by Cakewalk will eventually have installers written for the Command Center. The new installers are written when the products are updated. I do not believe any of the extra PC modules have been updated since the Command Center was released.

Scook, I don't know what you mean by "top level of user accounts." I've looked everywhere. Nothing. Also, I've always used the same email since I started using Cakewalk products, but I do not have several older products under my account, like the PC4K, Project 5, Pro Audio 9, etc., so I can't follow the steps an reactivate another email to see if they can be migrated because there was never another email. Thanks for your help. Hopefully Keith will see this and help me out.

Right-click anywhere in the body of the PC module other than a control for the context menu containing the About option. the information is also available in the dll Properties > Details tab. WRT missing products in your account, send a request to support as suggested by the link or wait for a reply to this thread. The choice is yours. A change in email was a common reason for missing products but from my experience not the only reason.

Had already tried right clicking and does nothing outside of the area where you can replace, remove, etc. Don't know what the dll would be called. Thanks.

The Insert/Replace... context menu is on the PC strip with the plug-in power button. Expand the PC module and click in the body like this It should show an about screen like this The default location for most the PC modules is C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Utilities\Internal. These two are in plug-in specific folders under than path.

Interesting point, Would it be correct to assume these ProChannel module updates, are not included as part of a monthly SPLAT update?
The bundled PC modules are updated with SONAR but the PC modules mentioned in this thread are not bundled with SONAR.

Yes, Scook, I understood what you meant. I don't get anything when I right click in the body of the module. Believe me, I tried. a lot!!! Lol. Nothing pops up. Thanks for pointing out which folder the dll is in. I'll try that route.
