I have the beta here, and am very disappointed the anti-gravity module for live performance doesn't work. It's spec'ed as being able to lift a performer six feet into the air, but I haven't been able to get over 2-3 feet. I'm so upset I'm going to do the right thing and threaten to switch DAWs.

We had to gate the max height to about 3 feet to avoid injury. Some beta testers reported injuries if SONAR dropped out while they were high :)

Okay...this really made me laugh...nice one Noel!!!

If Noel's been here x3e must be nearly baked. I've noticed a pattern.

Maybe the Concrete Limiter would suffice? Although the ceiling may need to be padded to avoid injury Craig.

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

if in fact the anti gravity module isn't working properly I have found a workaround. Just introduce a few more DB's of gravity's opposite, comedy.

Does the anti-gravity function as well with 64 bit processing on, with UAD cards, or with a Wang computer?

Is there a chance that X3E will contain Hexacloraphine?

Now i just wonder if version E, gonna be the last update for X3(e).

If so i hope all bug's are found, i " don't wanna and refuse " to spend more money'z
now on Sonar itself now for a long long time, only a few Pro-channel plugins maybe.

X3 need to be rock stable, before anyone thinking of any " something ...."

A suggestion to CW ,for all of us who only have the Studio version ....
Plz add the Pro-channel modules, that's is in Producer, to the shop so we can buy em
I want the Bus compressor, probably other too !

It's software, all bugs will never be fixed because all bugs that could exist have not yet been found. But after a while there's point of diminishing returns, where you don't keep a development team around just because someone using X computer bought in late 2014 with a Y graphics card bought in early 2016 and who also has software W and Q loaded on their computer experiences a problem when using a gaming mouse if running sound through a public domain generic ASIO driver. I think the most one can expect with any software is that features work as advertised and there are no showstoppers, or if there are, there's a workaround (e.g., not use a gaming mouse, or use drivers designed specifically for the audio interface you're using).

Nothing in life is perfect, but the fix list for X3e is pretty impressive...it shows the bakers have been really paying attention to what's been quantified by the users. In many ways, these rapid-fire updates aren't Cakewalk just shooting out fixes, but the result of something that's more like a partnership between Cakewalk and the user base.

Although I've rarely ever had critical issues and have always had good luck running SONAR since v2, the way X3 has been approached still gives me a good feeling.   This "partnership" thing really does feel like the real deal.   I'm looking forward to see how the next 12 months pan out!

Acting like a child, and being offending, and indicating that i am not "quite there"
with that LOL drawing, just merely reflect yourself

What you referred to was Sonar producer upgrade.

I said no Producer update, read what i wrote. . .

I know those are in Producer but i wont buy it yet, for a long- long time
maybe the next new version or the version after that, who know.

not everyone has loads of cash to just go buy anything, some actually has to
buy now and then when they can afford any.

What i am after is single produkts to buy: Console Emulator / PC4K S-Type Bus Compressor

It is not in the : http://www.store.cakewalk.com/b2ceuro/category.aspx?categoryID=109

or i must be complete blind here ?

Maybe they will not ever, be available as single products at all
then ill just get some 3rd party, of similar products later on as ordinary vst's

Anyway the thread was about the (e) update, was not intended to take over the thread here..
and as everyone else i am looking forward to it.

I undersand what your asking, but I believe those PC modules are Producer modules only. I doubt Cakewalk will ever make them available for purchase by Studio owners, but who knows. It doesn't hurt to ask. In the meantime I suggest you look at the Klanghelm stuff. The DC8C is an excellent bus comp (and any other kind you need) and the SDRR is a very good console emulator. Both can be had for 42 euros.

Dear Cake Bakers
Friday is a good day to release X3E. You will have the whole weekend to laugh at all the comments on the forum about "I cant download it"  or "The download is corrupted" Or "It takes forever" etc. Then if people really looked at what they are doing, they notice that a lot of the so called "Bugs" are from a source other than Sonar.

+1 on the Klanghelm. I can't say I'm really in love with DC8C (maybe just cause it's a complicated beastie and I have a whole bunch of "classic" emulations that work well for me), but SDRR gets a lot of use. I really like the tube overdrive, and its built-in parallel processing is super useful!
I had an issue using the x64 VST3 version with the PC pre bin, I think Noel was in contact with Klanghelm about it but I haven't seen an update yet. VST2 works fine though and isn't missing any features that I can tell.
