Brandon and Seth! Many thanks for this. It was enlightening seeing your project come to life. Very Alan Parsons--- with better voices! Your tip on trimming the vol input of the drum buss turned on a light for me!

Track templates don't work with more than 1 synth. I tried it in 8.5 as well as X1. Logged with cakewalk support no reply, logged with Roland UK no reply. If anyone has it working please reply and tell us how you did it. Saves ok as a project template.

Be sure to select the tracks that are connected to the synths. I've done this and multiple synths certainly do save in a Track Template, just gotta have all the tracks selected when saving.

Just got finished watching, great as always guys, but one suggestion i have, and i have put in several feature request for this, is the ability to put track folders in the bus pane, that would make life so much easier. Thanks

Yes yes yes!!!  Finaly I understand what's about audio snap and audio transiants.  Thank you so much for your calm approch to this.  The way youre doing it, it's impossible to miss the understanding of the thing!!! This is a big tool on our hand and like you said, it can be on a creative approch instead of a reparing tool.
Very very very interesting!!!

I just wanted to say that you guys at Cake are awesome for putting these online.  I learned a lot about the Step Sequencer and Audiosnap, even though I've used Audiosnap for years to detect transients and replace drums!

I have a specific question regarding Audiosnap with the projects I work on.  It's more of a "Why does it do this when you guys seem to never have this issue on your webcasts?"
Could I perhaps email anyone to get some personal help?

@fooman... Try posting a thread about it. I gotta learn all that fancy audiosnap/quantize/groovify stuff.

In the video, you say the original drummer's tempo fluctuates, so you guys start by bringing some beats in line.

I find a drummer will fluctuate more than that, so actually slowing down or speeding up some over the length of a song.

How did you line up the basic tempo with your grid lines?

I got a lot out of your webinar. It was great! My favorite nugget was your technique to grab the hand clap out of a loop and push that to Session Drummer 3. It's really nice to see features/capabilities in Sonar that not all of us are aware of demonstrated. Really useful! Thanks again guys.

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

Thanks for the new video Seth ! Looks good !

But doesnt mention anything about unrestricted color customization for all views including console view. Is that feature now updated to be like in previous versions like Sonar 7 OR does it continue to be restricted like in Sonar X1 ?
