"What's New" is still 2018.07. It's not be updated to 2018.08 yet. Just to say...

It looks like the new changelog link was mixed up with the prior release notes, and that includes both Features & Enhancements and Bug Fixes.

ATM, the website is not current. The entire list of "What's New" entries is here including 2018-08. This link is also the "See previous release notes" at the bottom of the "What's New" page.

I just think that it is necessary to update these in real time so as not to cause confusion. It is not good that the link ("What's New" page) written by Meng is not latest, I think so.

My guess is the web page is managed by an entirely different group than the folks creating the actual updates to the app. They might have to send the updates via those google docs to the web admin and it gets put into whatever update queue the Web Admins have to work through. So it gets way behind.

It would be silly to have the guys writing and testing the code for Cakewalk also do the webby stuff.

Thanks for your suggestion. I've resolved it in the end by reinstalling Studio Instruments, after which everything is working fine and sounding great.

Whatever you do, do not lose staff view. If my town ran out of drinking water, I’d have to move. I feel the same way about the staff. It’s just a beautiful way to quickly see the music and an inspirational way of visualizing ways to enhance it. I remember the first few weeks of music theory. Forty some odd years later I still get that amazing feeling of opportunity when I see a bass line or a melody line. Making the two work together in endless ways is right there on the staff.

I’m amazed that people can endlessly improvise or write spectacular songs without knowing anything about theory or that beautiful staff. They are very gifted. I need the staff. In fact, I need a better staff. Bandlab, please hire a few graduates from UISP, the University of International Staff Programming.

Dear BandLab:
Is there any plan to continue development of Dimension, Rapture, Z3TA+, Session Drummer, Channel Tools, LP Equalizer, LP Multiband and Adaptive Limiter? I don't pretend to know details, nor assuming they would be free, but just whether is some plan or they are abandoned.

Thanks Scook. Maybe I was not so clear. I was ofcourse referring to the last version of every plugin. When I said for instance Session Drummer, I meant SD3, but I didn't say "3" because maybe BandLab has plans for SD4. However, I have to admit I didn't know that Rapture Pro were a fusion of Dimension Pro + Rapture. Anyway, I'm talking about every latest SONAR synths and plugins (not 3rd party, ofcourse) that are absent in CbB.

Is there a way to provide some focus to this thread?  

Please then tell me what the focus of the thread is.  There are many threads on this site.  This one seems to be just about the new product and how to get it up and running?  Or is it more?  Or is it just everything?

I think it's a good idea to have a thread or two on any forum that is kind of wide open, kind of a clearing house for assorted odds and ends. I see no problem with the focus with this thread.

Probably you are right, but this thread was created by Meng, so...

At this point, I think it BandLab likely only skims this thread (it is 28 pages and counting). Any new fixes and updates by BandLab are added to the first post of this thread, and new reports of issues are probably looked at during the first few days.

The official Features Request thread (it was started by Meng, so I assume it is official), which is also pinned, probably gets a little more attention, though I suspect that the BandLab folks have plenty of new ideas collected from it already. It would take years to work through them all. You should use that thread to put features requests, even ones asking that "previous" standard plugins be added back into the product.
