I'm having the 'all my registrations are gone' problem too. It's a long-standing and recurring problem that apparently they still haven't fixed. Hopefully they take care of it permanently this time. I'm not going to call, they can let me know when they're ready to take my money.

Sorry to hear. As long as you get it in the end though it will be sweet hey. Hmm, my download has come to a crashing halt. I have a distant memory of this happening before in Internet Explorer, and having to install Firefox to actually download a large file before. I'll give it a go though Firefox and see if I have more success. Hmmm

How do we get both Download and DVD media, I don't see an option for both.

I saw an option to get both download and mailed box (with manual). It was only like $10 USD more, look for it in the store (it's there).

The Version 8.5 producer upgrade file size
It's 2GB in size and takes about 1hr on FIOS (20Mbps/5Mbps here).
That would be a couple of hours for me, I reckon. Eek!

this is AWESOME!!!! a lot of choices for Sonar Producer. So they released it on a Tuesday, similar to how new albums are released.
So Scott, will your Sonar 8 Power book be revised or add new chapters to cover the new features in 8.5? or will there be a new Sonar 8.5 Power book?

You guys are gonna like the new changes. They have new icons and a new Quick Start window that looks really cool. It's still the same GUI, but those little improvements make it feel new. Just remember to Cancel the GR3 installation if you already have it.

I got it up and running. Sonar Pro 8.5.1 seems very nice. But I have not done much as yer with it.

Do you really believe that those drum samples all fit in a 1MB file? Trust me, that 1MB files it's just a PDF file. I know because it has ".pdf" at the end of it :-P

No, this download just replaces the first installation DVD. IOW, if you were to install Sonar 8.5 from scratch, you would skip the Sonar 8.0 installation DVD and install Sonar 8.5 instead. Then proceed with the other DVD's as normal. I'm assuming you also need to install the Beatscape 1.02 update plus the extra sample content update they did a while back. But this is only an assumption. Hopefully Cakewalk can clear this up for us.
