Cakewalk by BandLab V 2018.11 (build 31 64 bit) Is Out!

V2018.11 (build 31 64 bit)Features & Enhancements
  • Export Control Bar module for fast access to common file export operations
  • Publish to BandLab, with options for full mix, track stems, or bus stems, and full support for project revisions
  • Updated BREVERB 2 Cakewalk full VST plug-in
  • Updated version of Overloud TH3 that is fully compatible with Cakewalk by BandLab
  • Project load optimizations, including faster load times of large multitrack projects and projects that contain many AudioSnap transient markers
  • UI optimizations, including faster track scrolling and navigation in big projects
  • Smaller update installer that will only copy the necessary files required for a given update (only able to install over the previous release version; full installer available when updating from older versions)
Bug Fixes
  • Slip stretching (CTRL+SHIFT+drag) is not possible with Edit tool
  • Cannot preview M4A/MPEG-4 audio files in Media Browser
  • Crash on project load using 2018.09 build 29
  • Closing toast notification for VST Scan should hide further toasts until scan completes
  • Potential crash and incorrectly mapped parameters when opening Craig Anderton FX chain that uses Overloud TH3

    So I found out after I posted.  I looked back through the earlier post headings prior to posting but didn't find any conversations.  In hindsight, it seems I did not review enough posts.
     
    Also, prior to posting I looked at the pinned post by Meng that has been used to announce earlier updates.  The last two updates haven't been announced in that thread.  As others have stated both BandLab Assistant and Cakewalk by BandLab will alert users of an update.  But I'm still surprised a formal announcement is not posted to the forum.

    All of that make me think that this forum is oficially dead and I really don't know if Bandlab has a real intention to create a new one.

    Having Microsoft Edge as a default browser, the idea of
     "Publishing to BandLab, with options for full mix, track stems, or bus stems, and full support for project revisions" scares the Hell out of me, as Bandlab has very limited and equally unstable support for Edge and Firefox..
     
    But I'm really liking Bandlab enough to install Chrome as a secondary browser, and being I don't use Chrome for anything else, I use Bandlab as my start page and all is well.
     
     I only wish Bandlab Assistant didn't have run on the default browser, but it's not even close on the list to the worse things I don't like.

    Wondering how was faster scrolling and navigation implemented here, somebody pls share thoughts, I can't check it out myself I'm still on 32bit system. Really liking to see that retouched as that was one of the points on my Feature Requests+Improvements list!

    Me too Chris, maybe they're talking about on touch screens ?

    Bandlab Assistant also wants to update, but it crashes every time I try telling me something went wrong and to try again...

    And the CbB update failed as well... Downloaded and just stopped. No ability to update with the assistant anymore either...

    I was able to get CbB installed.  I'll try your link michheld... thank you.
