Can multiple MIDI tracks be routed to a single MIDI plugin track like audio ?

Just like you could have multiple audio tracks routed to a single track containing an audio effect plugin, can multiple MIDI tracks be routed to a single MIDI effect plugin track ?

For example, if I want multiple MIDI tracks to be assigned the transpose plugin, can this be possible by a routing method ?
I know the transpose plugin can be individually assigned to each MIDI track, but I may want this for say, 25 or 50 tracks !
I also know that multi-select, Process ---> Transpose can be used. But this will move the notes destructively. I dont want the notes to move, only a transpose for playback to be effected. And multi-select key+ does not work at the moment AFAIK.

And Transpose is an example, if routing is possible, this can be done for other MIDI effect plugins.

Has anybody been able to do anything like this ?

It sounds like you would like to create a MIDI bus - sorry, doesn't exist. You can't cretae a MIDI send either.
You can essentially bounce all your midi to one track and then run it through the MIDI effect, but to what end? You still have to send it to a synth to create the audio, it would all have to go to one synth patch!

Very true Brian. No point in bouncing, the MIDI tracks have to be separate.

This all started for me because some of these useful multi-select functions for MIDI have disappeared in X1, like key+ under the earlier Tracks menu. So I thought the transpose plugin would be a good way to go, as it is non-destructive. But then I guess I have to copy it to a number of tracks after all as the MIDI bus concept doesnt exist.... :-(
Applies to other MIDI functions and MIDI effect plugins too.
I still hope there's some easier and quicker way out and I am missing something here.

    Anyways, thanks.

MIDI-files don't require much space. You could copy the tracks, transpose the copies, and make track folders "Original" and "Transposed". Not very fluent, not at all, I admit.
