More information please Lar. Have you made a change in your studio setup? If so, please name the specifics. If not, were you able to hear your guitar before?

Digital Input Device sounds like you have the s/pdif input acitvated (maybe)...can youn change it to soundblaster x-fi? if not - i wonder why - do you need to change the input in the soundblaster audio console ( go to start>programs>creative>soundblaster and bring up the console there?)

It is setup for x-fi speakers! Weird... I don't have s/pdif activated...but that's what shows.

delay is called latency...now cards meant for audio recording will minimise this (to 2ms or so) but the x-fi isn't such a beast. you need to be in asio or wmd/ks mode to get lower latency. try asio (you canchange driver mode in options>audio) first....once swapped, click the asio button and lower the latency (samples) to around 4ms (256 samples)...get back to me

well although it's a gaming card should be able to get it to work. make sure you have the latest drivers.(from website) open the soundblaster console and set to 16 bit/48khz. now open shs and do the same in options>audio. NOW try to engage asio mode... ensure you're in 'audio creation mode'

For someone who has used "HS 2002 for years", you sure don't know much about it.

Because I've used the old version for years doesn't mean I know how how to use the new version. I wouldn't have asked for advice. I've used HS 202 to record acoustic guitar with very little effects. One would think that the new version wouldn't be so difficult to find the right drivers and parameters. I did search the forum for advice prior to posting and found little to help. If you can't help someone in a forum enviornment, I suggest you keep your sarcastic and arrogant tone to yourself. Good luck in the future. Lar
