Must say, I don't like the original, I'm a little over boy meets girls songs but you've done an excellent job the sound of the guitar is really nice.

I don't know about the reverb, I don't think it's too much it's the sound todaymaybe the wrong type.

There is some pumping and breathing when the drums come in too.

Nice job though

Paul,

Nice job.  You must have made some changes as I didn't hear wide vocals.    You sound like Ray Davies, I liked your vocal performance, a few minor pitch issues but I think it actaully anhanced the performance.  Made it sound a bit more emotional.  Great job on the backing track too.

Regards

Steve - thanks for listening and commenting - much appreciated

MGH - thanks again. Blushing again ! ;)

Garry - thanks for the ears and comments. Glad you enjoyed it.

BenM - yeah it's a pretty simple tune/concept but that is it's beauty for me. Sometimes I think people can try too hard to re-invent the wheel all the time and often all they come up with is square wheels. I did put a limiter on for when the end kicks in - maybe I need to back it off a little. Thanks for listening and commenting.

Eric - thanks for listening and commenting - check out the original sometime - it's great. ( by Snow Patrol)

Markno999 - thanks for listening and positive comments. Ray Davies huh ? Never had that comparison before -  maybe the Brit thing - l'il bit before my time really, but thinking about it I did see him once guesting on a few songs with Bon Jovi. Yeah, sorry everyone, but  I do like Bon Jovi - shoot me now if you like !

Tony - thanks for the ears and your kind comment. Much appreciated :)

I LOVE this song! You did awesome! Honestly, if you had the vocal tuned, it would make a HUGE difference. Sweet!

Paulo - this is also one of my fave songs and I think you totally did it justice. Love your choice of synth sounds. When the big release with the drums etc kicks off, I believe this is how Muse would cover it.

I just popped in to have a listen to a few and saw this - at first glanced I thought it was someone else with the same song title, didn't expect to see this again.

Poguester - I don't mind buying the beer, but do I have to wear the heels ? Dunno how deep you had to dig to find this, commendable effort, sir ! Thank you.

Dena - thanks for listening and kind comments. Yeah a bit dodgy in places, but that's me I'm afraid. Welcome to my world ;)

Daryl - thanks for the ears and - glad you liked, especially as you're a fan of the original - that's usually the biggest test with covers.

Frank - thanks for stopping by again, a compliment in itself. You should check out the original some time, it's not that different, just this really, but better !

This it the first time I have heard this tune.

The production is excellent. Nice sounding vocals, the acoustic is exquisite, nice overall job.

Thanks Herb - glad you like liked. I've been trying the "less is more" route of late and this song kind of fits nicely into that,

Paulo this is so close to the original I have a tough time telling the difference. I second the voice comments. You have a great set of pipes there. Nicely done.

Thank you Starise for the kind comments. Yeah, it was just a straightforward cover because I love it rather than any kind of attempt to re-work it. Glad you liked.
