Chord Libraries?

I have just started playing with staff view and tabs.  I figured out how to do standard guitar tabs.

I am wondering if a library of chords for bass guitar exists?  I am using this a way to teach myself bass and thought this might be useful.

I could make a simple library, just trying to save time.

Thanks,

Jef

Bass players usually play single note lines, not chords. Not sure what you're looking for here.

Jeff, I think you're talking about how bass line progressions are based on chords, and that's why a good bass player knows his chords as well as a rhythm or lead guitar player.  You're absolutely right.  As to importing a chord library - I don't know, there must be something of the sort available.

    Hi Randy (and others),

Yep, you got what I am thinking exactly.

I guess I can use the supplied guitar chords as a real rough start but I am looking into building a bass chord voicing library to help me learn / play along with projects.

    Thanks for the help all.
