I like it a lot...but the female choir doesn't sound very good,at least on my computer.

If I throw a stick will you leave?

Meatbird: I too found the female ahh patch thin. So I used the choir patch in in the ds864. But the Dimension patch is for building cords with. I went back and inserted an instance and did cords with this patch and it works well. I still kept the ds864 patch but I suplemented it with the dimension patch as well. It's just right. Having several choices works better. I will of course convert my Prosample set to dimension soon.

Like mgarrett I am a bassist and was recently working on a track that I wanted to use both upright and electric fretless. I was going to use my upright to record with, but I decided one day to try and see how good the upright sound quality was with Dimension Pro. Well to my suprise the sound was so good and so adjustable, in terms of the level of adjustment you could make with that wonderful warm buzz that you usually can only get from a good upright bass, that I did the track using my midi and Dimension Pro and was really happy with the outcome and decide to forget about using the upright after all.

I do have one question though, is Garritan Pocket Orchestra which is include in a separate folder or are the instruments just kind of all over the menu?

ORIGINAL: mgarrett010461

I have had it for about 2 weeks, My personal opinion is that it is awsome....

The synth itself is the most versatile instrument I have experienced.

So far I have done a cursory run through the samples, which I think are very well done,
and arranged. Also, the samples are not overproduced, giving me much better control of
the overall sound.

I have been working on one piece using the fretless bass, and today was surprised by
how good it sounded. (And I am a bass player). I decided to use dimension rather
than my own bass......

The most value I have recieved for 99.00 in a long time!!!

Strange question but here is the answer.

Dimension Pro - Program Browser - Number 24 - Garritan Pocket Orchestra.

Those who can't dance always blame the band.

What would make my day is if Garritan were to port more content over to dimension. A dvd with SFZ files I could pick and choose from would really be over the top. Why the pick and choose? Well it is a large lib and hard drive space is always valuable realestate. But I takes what I can get. ;)+)
