Put your program on your C: drive, your projects on a different drive, and your loops etc. on another drive again, is a tested and common method of installation that many users here adhere to. I have seen it written many times on this forum as a fix to everything from latency issues, to drop outs and crashes. I also wondered why it wasn't given as an install option in C3.
I also agree with Craig, too much angst against passionate, Cakewalk programmers just achieves angry responses, not fixes to the issue. Vote on it, I will.

I don't care what anybody thinks.  I think its great. It beats having to check in here to find out what's new.

Personally I agree with the OP. I just don't agree with his conclusions and we can all happily put up with this.

Sell by date at 9000 posts. Do not feed.
@48/24 & 128 buffers latency is 367 with offset of 38.
