This is a large (maybe 28") monitor with 1920x1200 resolution, so it's "taller" than most wide screen monitors.  I have one and absolutely love it.

Many folks use dual monitor setups.  But the problem is that if your nearfield monitors are at ear/eye height, use of two video monitors requires placing the nearfields such that they are spaced too far apart.

I have widescreen-ear syndrome (a big bulbous head), so no problem for me.

My displays are mounted on the wall, just above my near-field monitors, so it's not a problem, once I adjusted to the slight height difference.
