But you've been told by Beagle that the mods are reluctant to change/delete. Saying it over and over that "it should be easy" will not change the mind of the mods. As Beagle says the best you can hope for is being banned but you a) will not get your account changed b) will not ingratiate yourself with the mods c) will remain frustrated d) will still have the same ID So, why not get a free email account for the explicit use of Cakewalk Forums? Simples. Oh yeah, and stop using this ID then. Simples. JMO, but you "seem" dead set on being "right" on how it should be. Sit back, relax and enjoy the show. Get a new ID. No one will really care that the Scoot ID is no longer being used. Well, except maybe Beagle

I am relaxed, "I'm just asking 'how do I communicate the Mods", seems a simple request Is the asnwer 'We do not communicate with the Mods'? It's one thing being told how the Mods are likley to respond and actually having a responce.

You pretty much have to threaten to kill someone to get banned here. And even then a lot of times nothing is done about it. Brandons inbox has been full for quite some time. He has posted his email address here a couple times. Do a search for it and try to email him. Then, give up and do what Bapu told you when you get no response.

I'm too out of touch to pick someone at random to start to threaten, do you have any suggestions. Anyone get under you skin in particular? Though I'm kinda thining Jonbuoy, just because if I have to go through with it, it's less far to travel Message I got PMing Brandon, was his box was full and it ould appear in his inbox when he clears it, so I'll just be patient. If I don't hear anything in a while, and someone else is suggested I'll try them

As you have discovered Scoot, this forum software, written in Microsoft ASP, does not conform to any standards at all. It is in a word, a broken pile of junk. There is nothing simple about it, yet it should be. You are completely correct in that there should be a way to contact a forum mod who actually responds.

bapu Old55 They've probably been busy with Summer NAMM. Doing 'not much of anything' according to Seth's description in my fred upstairs. Are/were they in Nashville away from home and out of their normal routines? That by itself might distract them from answering PM's and letting their mailboxes fill up. Summer is also time when people take vacations. The full mailbox is a feature of our beloved forum software. I'm not allowed to have more than 10 messages in my "Inbox". As moderators, I hope they have a larger limit than 10, but I don't know if that's the situation or not. Even if this isn't the case. The times I've sent PM's both Brandon and Willie have gotten back to me. I guess my point to Scoot, is to have patience and keep trying especially if it's important.

I'm not allowed to have more than 10 messages in my "Inbox". This "new" version allows 25.

57Gregy I'm not allowed to have more than 10 messages in my "Inbox". This "new" version allows 25. Well, there's progress. I finally cleared out mine and haven't let it get over 10, so I never even noticed the change. Thanks for the heads-up, Greg.
