Convert aiff to aif

My publisher has asked for audio to be sent in the aif format.  He specifically said he doesn't want aiff.  It looks as though Sonar Platinum does not export aif.  Does anyone know where I can go on the Internet to convert aiff to aif?  I need to get this music to him ASAP!

    Thank you!  I downloaded one of the programs in the google search before writing the post.  I couldn't get it to work. I went back and tried it again after your post.  It works fine now.  Most of the programs will read aif, but not convert to aif.

    I always thought AIF and AIFF were the same.

    The funny thing... my publisher got back to me and said all I have to do it delete the last "f" in aiff and it will go into his system.  This makes no sense at all to me.  Sure enough- it worked!

    That is the difference between MAC and PC. Pc is .aif and MAC is .aiff
    It's the same file.

    There is no 3 character limit to file extensions on the PC and hasn't been for some time.
     
    Looking over my PC files I see both .aif and .aiff in the Live and Max folders as well as in many sample folders.
     
    But, like WAV files, these are containers of chunks of data with each chunk having a data type.
     
    One could make difficult to play versions of each. For example, only Sonar and Sound Forge (among the apps I have) will load and play 64-bit WAV files, and I imagine it may be easy for Apple audio apps to make files in AIFF that would be hard for most PC apps to play. And, while Sound Forge can read 64-bit files, it won't save them.
