Thanks AT. Glad you like that riff. Sets my mind at ease as I was thinking it gets boring after the 3rd one. I know there's only 4. But, well, you know. I just get anal. I couldn't agree more daryl. Thanks man. Hey strat. Thanks. Yea, just dropped the E down to a D for that lick. I think the bass was a soft synth. Trilogy maybe. "soggy". Hah. Ok. Thanks Jimmy. This one just sort of came together pretty easily. Love when that happens:) I don't know what I do in particular in the mixes. Actually, I really don't mix per se on stuff I'm doing. By the time I'm done with a tune, it's usually mixed. Or, maybe another way to put it is, I'm mixing from the 1st note on. Thanks Jimmy.

Timmay! This has Top 40 Country radio all over it. Great country style vocal and guitar hook as many have already mentioned. What's really good about it IMHO is that it's got all the elements of a great country song but the structure is just different enough to not be a cliché. Great job, as usual, confirms my opinion that you can do anything!

Hi Tim, wonderful production, you should pitch this to Omar Dykes ( Omar and the Howlers) ; ) That opening guitar lick reminded me of him. It wouldn't be a country song but I think it would work ; ) Rik

I reckon this was a bit cliche. However it did have a catchy hook, the vocals seemed to be over the top with the country accent.

This is cool country! Love the "don't mean that much" bit, nice change of rhythm in the vocals to separate chorus from verses. Good production too - look forward to hearing this on the radio ;-) Cheers, Terry.

Excellent work in every respect. If I knew a country star, I'd send it to them and tell them to listen. I could hear one of the current crop of male singers from N-town singing this. Just how you get it to one of them..... that my friend, is the mystery of the ages in country music songwriting these days. Yup, nice playing and writing.
