Of course I had to click on this one.

Really like this Tim. Your a master of extruding a groove, everything flows nicely, some of the snare work was awesome on the chorus. Catchy and plenty of fills and nuances to show off your production craftmanship.

The breakdown section was very slick too.

I listened to it twice, the second trying to nit pick at something, but I couldnt. *It needs a fiddle!

Ahhh, I know it's not a contest? But I listened to it "three times..."

And I'm prepared to listen as many times as necessary to retain the lead (but it's not a contest? I just need to have the highest number of listens.)

Wonderful stuff Tim (and I'm not a country boy..at all..). The guitar work on this track is just sublime. Really written song too, effortlessly good. A little John Hiatt vibe going on I thought..

This a great example of a well-written straight-up country song.  The pre-chorus and the chorus are extremely catchy! There are hooks galore like the reverb soaked guitar line.  The lyrics are great and I love the backing vocals!!  I don't really like country music too much but I could absolutely listen to this because it has rock and pop elements. It's on the fringe of  popular country.  It has an edge to it that pushes it toward rock  You can dance to it too!  It has all the elements of a hit song.  Great job Tim!

You need to mention your truck, beer, call her girl and take her to the river in order for it to be a country song.

Other than that, great song Tim (as usual).

eeee haa!! Very nicely done country song and it is danceable for sure. Great instrumentation and the vocals are perfect, and a great job on the mix. I'm not big on country music either, but this was awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Tim,

Great song, super catchy and well performed/mixed.   I could hear Shania doing this song, not that you don't do superbly;)    Reminds me a bit of the Country of the 90's, a very good era for Country music.  Straight up, feel good music.

One of the best intros ever.  Nails it.  And love how the riff just keeps coming in w/o showing off.  The highest compliment my guitarist uses is "tasteful." Applies here.  Nice chorus.  And toe tapping from a white guy that doesn't dance.  Just a great job - modern country w/o going all poppy.

Tim,

I have been a fan of yours for a long time now.  I really like this song, production, and playing.  Your mixes are so sonically smooth and professional.  Many that post here should really take a moment and listen to your mixes to hear how well blended the highs, mids and lows are.  You've got everything in the right place with the right tone.  It sounds very professional.  My attention gets drawn into the song and vocals instantly.
