A very modern scat song ... excellent and pro (to my ears). Reminds me of Music Instructor and similar chipmunk formant twists, which makes for great dance and skating ... a fav of teens. While it certainly hooks today's spastic-child audience ... there remains that 'lack of a message hook' ... such is the dolefulness of artifical trancy electronica. Music Instructor partly works around the issue by 'instructing' a message on top of his Hymn as he show-and-tells his funk. JMO/IMHO though. Your guitar work is a sweet touch for this genre. My 2 boys (13 and 2) would absolutely love this!

Jonbouy This is my son, he's 9, I get him on weekends. Me and him playing around in the studio a couple hours back on Fathers day. Thought it was a cool way to spend Father's day. I hope you enjoy! Cool beans... I wondered how any shredding was gonna work over this but it does, nice work. Lots of punch and polish on the finished article, the vid should be good. The boy is a star!!!... Good to hear from you Ed, but it's Cody's autograph I want. LOL, that made me feel more last century than I actually am...
Hey Jon, yeah, time to pass the torch huh I wasn't too sure on the guitar either before starting it but I kinda just threw caution to the wind on this one. Thanks for the listen bud, hope you're doing well! PS. Pictured autographs will soon be available for the very low price of $29.00!

Thanks Philip, yeah, I kinda threw out my usual songwriting sensibilities on this one, didn't want to get too deep with it considering the audience that this would appeal to, the kids bop crowd, most likely 14 and under. Actually throughout the process I was slowly leaning toward to it being background for a commercial or something. ie catchy, colorful, segments strung together instead of some 'moral of the story' or underlying meaning floating around underneath without the usual arrangements of typical 'songs' vs, chorus, vs, chorus, bridge, chorus chorus. Thanks alot for the critique, your replies are always well thought out and interesting.

The polish and dazzle is a blast. What a great education in music production for your boy!

thepogue, thanks! Rick, Yeah, he's asked me about learning to play guitar since we did this. Still not sure I want to subject him to the life of a musician lol. Ben, Np at all, I'd like to hear some of what you've done. Thanks.

Believe it or not it's V-vocal. I did this after a pc build and hadn't installed any plugs yet. Tbh my first successful V-vocal experience.

Darn it, Ed, I got an error 404 page not found message. I was looking forward to hearing it.

Thanks, Ed. That was definitely worth coming back for. aside from the great idea of doing it with your son, it's a kickass tune as well. LOVE the guitar work. Terrific job.
