Session Drummer 3, I've never even touched.  As someone said, it's like comparing a Volkswagen to a Porsche.

Session Drummer 3 is a powerful tool if you don't mind editing SFZ files. Building your own kit with different kit-pieces is also a breeze. I do have AD2, EZD2, SD2 and SD3 among other drum VSTis, but frequently prefer Session Drummer 3 with 3rd party libraries for its simplicity and incredible sounds. Platinum Samples' kit are particularly nice.

Sonars Drum replacer ships with Chocolate audio samples. Anyone tried those yet ?

I have the full collection of Chocolate drums (bought via Steam). Decent drums that require some tweaking. Since drum replacer is sfz-based I would recommend getting SD3 kits from Platinum Samples.

Yeah had a look at that link SoundW and some good stuff there.  There are some good items out there which I'll look into and then just drag them into my Session Drummer.   Im not sure how to edit SFZ files but I can drag items into Session D and create either custom kits or just buy a complete kit from Platinum.
