Thank you, Warren, for the kind remarks. It's fun to pull a surprise out of my hat, once in a while. Don't be surprised if I do this again because I have several more videos just lying around waiting for something to happen.

Hi Janet, it was a cool trip. Part of it was taken on a float trip on the Buffalo River in Arkansas. Thanks for stopping by and the kind words.

Maybe if I wasn't so busy promoting all the projects I'm involved in I wouldn't miss the gems like one. Very nice Lynn.

Boomin36, thanks for the kind words. What I think you're referring to is the phased string pad at the point where the piano comes in. Good ears for hearing that. ohgrant, I'm happy you appreciate my use of textures. When you're not a world class musician, this helps to convey a mood. bapu, you should stay busy with your projects because they rock! I'm very glad you like this. It was my pleasure.

It sounded really thin. Some of the synth tones came across as sounded a bit cheesey. It may help if you could fatten them up a little. Removing the cat from your synth may help too. It did have a nice rhythm though, upbeat.

Very good work...sounds like pro level recording to me. I have also floated down the Buffalo before. I have a sister in law that lives in Mountain home, AR...it's just a short drive away. A few weeks ago we went to Dawt Mill in Missouri. You should check it out sometime, it's a nice place. Who knows what songs may come!

Lynn, It sounds good, I like your choices of texture and layers. It is an interesting composition. Good mix, I don't hear any distortion although I am listening on my laptop so maybe it just isn't coming across. Regards

Markno999, thanks for taking the time to listen and comment. The mix you listened to isn't the original; I remastered the song at a lower volume level and faded the ending. Until the next time.

James, thanks for your input and for stopping in. Sorry about the drums, but I didn't want to overwhelm the synths with a heavy drum beat, especially since this wasn't meant for the dance floor, but rather, a video clip of some expert canoeing. Starise, I appreciate your comments very much and thanks for taking the time to listen.

Hi Lynn, well that was quite a journey, not really my cuppa but it kept my interest. I kept waiting for the Hooks but heard none. The Genre Instrumental with Hooks means there are short Vocal Passages in the song called Hooks. You may want to just call this an Instrumental.

Very cool Lynn! I love an instrumental that has a 'chorus' and keeps the interest right through, you achieved that perfectly here. Nice choice of sounds too, all blending well to my ears. I agree with you about the drums, they have momentum without becoming the focus. Interestingly, we (SMB) also had some music featured on a video about a canoe trip down the Buffalo River last year.

Hi James, thanks for stopping by and having a listen. That Buffalo river is sure inspirational. I didn't get out this summer because it's been too dry, and the river is down. I'm so tired of this drought that I may have to write a song about it.
