Digital Performer 8 for Windows

Anyone else tried the DP8 demo for Windows? I gave it a try, but was very disappointed. Why did I demo? I need a DAW that has solid scoring-to-picture features. This is where DP8 really shines, but the overall program is bland as hell. If you don't read the manual, you are virtually crippled because it's very unintuitive IMHO.

CAKEWALK: Please spend time developing stronger video features. I've been a Cake guy since 92', but I just can't work professionally with X2 when it comes to those lacking features. I still use X2 for MIDI sequencing, but that's about it. Cubase 7 has been my lifesaver! If you could could follow in those footsteps (and that of Logic Pro), you'd make a lot of film composers very happy.

I kinda wish they had concentrated more on video support than touch features in x2.
though I agree touch is in the future of daws, there is still so much more that can be done using a mouse and a keyboard.
im not sure they looked at that.
    the keyboard?

all those shortcuts we use. did anyone think of that? I hope so.
with this being said, id also like to see audio a main priority over video but a little more video support would be nice.
im still using sony vegas and its a pain IA.
