Hi,
Not as much as I used to. I have been "inside" music for so long that the only things I hear these days are the little details and things I would like to add or hear with this or that piece of music ... it is a weird thing, that I sometimes am listening to something and in my mind, there is another instrument doing some harmony or equivalent doing something else.
Now if I can only learn a DAW well enough to feel comfortable so I can pull those sounds out of my head ... it would be nice ... but there aren't any Sonar'itos (or Sonar'itas) in the Portland/Vancouver area ... so I just enjoy the inner noice and trip with it ...
I'm already thinking that I am done playing with software and midi boards ... just no teaching and help anywhere ... and all instructors I have found around here want to give me piano theory ... which I am not interested in.
As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!

The lady instructor was nice ... but she knew nothing about computers and even less about midi ... she freaked when she saw me playing it on the midi board into a VST ... but she got on ok with it. Sad thing ... the ivories were better looking than her hands or touch!

I used to sing this back in the band days. People loved it, always requested it if we left it off the set list. It started out as a joke at band practice one night and we decided to do it at a private gig and people loved it so we kept on the permanent set. Funny how that works isn't it?
