Do you get songs stuck in your head for no apparent reason?

I'm trying to figure out if I'm losing it, or am just another aging rocker.  Today's selection (for me) has been "Eastbound and Down" from the movie "Smokey and the Bandit," and apparently that's pretty good compared to Bapu who reported he's playing the "I'm stuck on Bandaid" ad song.

Maybe we should kill this thread as I fear contagion via the power of suggestion.
Bapu's head is empty because I caught "I'm stuck on Bandaid" from him, like an evil spirit leaping from one life form to another.

Two Times by Ann Lee is one which keeps cropping up in my head.

It was annoying me when it was a hit. And then I saw the video:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4a9uP4A9ic

Filmed about 50 yards from where I was living at the time in Whitstable.
And because of that I'm never going to be able to get rid of it

I have been cursed with this psychological affliction my whole life - the last song I hear keeps on playing in an endless loop until replaced by another song.

My business partner, being aware of this quirk and having a cruel nature, once made a point of playing just the chorus of "Engl-and swings like a pendulum do" and then switching off the stereo for the remainder of our three-hour drive.

Sometimes, those damn tunes come out of nowhere. I don't even have to hear a song to start the loop! Yesterday, I spent the whole day singing "It's the same old tune, fiddle and guitar, it's been the same way for years". And damned if I could remember a single line of it beyond that.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
