3 HERE,Laptop screen as main,+2x18.5 LCD TVs as 2nd and 3rd monitors.Could not go back but, lately Im able to use X1 in bed! This Dell XPS has great little "JBL" speakers with a subwoofer underneath, unbelievable clarity/bottom /volume! The Tvs only have average resolution but, being able to put stuff[undocked windows/plugs/instruments]anyware without hiding,is very cool. The latest trend is ONE big screen with MEGA resolution apparently, but my 2 TVs cost a little more than $100 each[cheaper than most monitors] so until the big screens come down Ill be sticking. Also my set up is HDMI,Mini Display/HDMI so I get SOUND as well as Images to both,in fact the Nvidea GPUs sound has higher/better resolution/latency than my UA-25!! Also for something just discovered,Im SUPER impressed with a Hammond B3 Plugin called Vb3 byGSI excellent for "Jon Lord"/DEEP PURPLE approximations!CHEERS RK.

I use one Dell 222OL LED 21.5" monitor at 1920x1820 HDMI and with screen sets, I am very comfortable without taking up a lot of space using near-field monitors.

I've been using two monitors for more than 8 years, both at work and in my studio and I am totally adicted to it. I just can't figure out how people can work on a laptop without driving a 2nd monitor. Currently there are no computer monitor (forget about LCD TVs) tha can give you a 39 inches work space. I use it is to stretch my track view across the two monitors or I will keep it within one monitor while I have the console view, effects, soft synth opened in the 2nd. As you can see I just love it.......try it and you won't want to go back.... Mario

I have two 25" and keep the track view on one and browser, piano roll, etc tabbed on the other....it's convenient but far from essential considering we now have screensets. That said, I'd like to have a 320" monitor that I can control with my mind ....and an audio interface that I could plug into my ear that would record exactly what I'm hearing...now that would be convenient!

I have 2x19" non-widescreen monitors and one of the reasons I've not yet come up to X1 is that it doesn't work as well on this rig (for the way I work). I only use track view and I drag the track headers over to the cover one screen and have the arrange page on the other, this gives me giant horizontal meters and, with the track header stretched out so far, an instant view of what's going on across all my tracks. Now that Sonar is copying the 'R' and 'S1' model, forcing additional reliance on the mixer view, I can see that it will work much better on one monitor (no 'fold' on the new control bar thing, no break in mixer strips etc). More is always better.. however the screensets in X1 makes a dramatic improvement in useability for smaller monitors..

Dual 23 inch monitors (ASUS VH238H) on a killer stand that I ordered from Amazon. Far more versatile than a single monitor setup IMO.

I use my laptop 1900x1200 with a 23inch @ 1900x1080 (approx) it's great for the most part although there have been times when I feel a third monitor could help

2 x 22" here. It's been the way I've always worked with Sonar apart from on the laptop - and I can't imagine how people can manage with just one monitor, but each to their own, I guess.
