Get Battery 3 or use the CW Percussion Strip. You can use it for any drums or drum samples.

Get Battery 3 or use the CW Percussion Strip. You can use it for any drums or drum samples.


+1. Battery is fantastic. It is very tweak-able. And as Soundteaker says X1 has so much stuff to add to the sound it is unlimited.

What about Beatscape?  That comes with Sonar X1.  I like it.

Does it come with any sort of drum synthesizer ?

Sure it does...

There's still enough bugs in the program to get you banging your hands on your head or wanting to thump the computer and then hit the On/Off button...

You could capture any of  those sounds with traditional microphone techniques and play those back in any number of VI's...

That should get you started with some Sonar X1 drum sounds :)

Sorry - I don't use Autotune :)
