Daryl's a bit slow on thank you notes. He's under the impression they are like wedding protocols. You can take up to a year.

I will also thank you on the Song Forum when the post has drifted down the page a bit. There is a certain hilarious protocol on the song forum - it keeps your song hanging around there a little longer. It's the law.

If the DJ doesn't have any dulcimer platters in his crate, this old jewel of a tune can be used to get the crowd out on the floor: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8jN1treRKQ Just make sure you don't step on anyone's toes. ;-)

Isn't this a Zither though?

Isn't this a Zither though? Semantics. The point is it's to much trouble to tune either before a session. So essentially they are the same thing.

I learned to play the Beatles "All my loving" on one of these. It sounds superb on one you'd almost think it was written for it because the chords and runs just fall naturally on it. It was my party piece for years. I gave it up because I couldn't be arsed to tune it all the time.

How else do you think I could play it... No it's a guitar zither. I guess it originates from around the balkan states.
