Hi Robbie can you do me a favor and have one for me ...and make it a double , ......I mean a triple ... August 12 of this year marked 30 years since my last drink one day at a time ..... as far as the song goes and my guitar playing , I do appreciate your feedback , its honest and as the performer I suspect I probably failed to engage my listener for the whole length of my musical statement ...... I did record two versions of F Blues ..... if somebody on this thread happens to read this ...all it will take is one request and I will post it ..... I wouldn't be surprised at all if folks here preferred it to what I submitted as my homework Kenny

I was just pondering the journey from buying your/my first guitar, to learning an E chord, to learning a lick, to learning Louie Louie, to breaking a string, to having calouses, to learning Spain, to learning etc etc ........till eternity.

Hi Kenny, I hereby formally request that you post that alternative version of F blues, just to prove me wrong ; ) Seriously, I really liked the beginning but that g# at 1:30 and that following passage breaks up a very nice mood you set at the start, imho as they say. Rik

Both versions were great, though I didn't care for the head. I was hoping to hear some chord-melody "shout" material because the tempo is perfect for that sort of thing, but that's probably outside of the homework parameters.
It's always a pleasure to hear someone with a good swing feel!

Hi jsaras , On both versions I modified the head after playing it once .... Every time I played the head , I felt like I was at one of them Annette Funicello beach parties from the 60's this is what they required for grading Class Using the "Blues" play-along MP3 track, record yourself playing the melody and then improvising over the harmony while stating an developing a theme. Stay with one theme for at least 12 bars. Upload your audio to SoundCloud and paste the link here.
the chord melody approach was on my mind , i see no reason why I couldn't of gone there other than I had 2 songs to do Olhos De Gato & F Blues in a very short time frame . it is really nice to have played something that you have enjoyed jsaras , I really do appreciate the kind words Kenny

Hi Everybody , I just wanted to take this moment to thank you for listening to my homework assignments as of tonight I have completed every obligation that the course has required of me ....YAY.... I think tomorrow I find out about my grades ...at least for sure on assignment 5 from my point of view i can tell you it was a very satisfying experience ... I know for a fact that a lot of you guys here could easily cut the mustard w the playing I'm not gonna mention any names here , cause , I know that you know , that I know , that you know , that I think that you know who you are , and that I know you can do it oh well , something like that lack of sleep is getting the best of me and my orbit so, if anybody here is wondering if they would benefit from doing the class when it comes up again I would tell you to go for it and give yourself the opportunity . that is if this type of learning and subject is something you think you might want to do if you happen to be on the fence regarding the commitment ......you can do as little or as much of the class as you want . have a nice night Rik , Daryl , Frank , Timothy, Clint, Robbie, hey fellas don't worry , I'm not naming the names of a few of the fellas that I think I know here that I feel they could cut the mustard playing wise I'm just saying good night Kenny

Yazza, right in the groove. I think I liked the second opne best. I'll have to listen again. That walking upright is great. Real or Memorex? Is this a canned track you play to? You really have this genre in your pocket, buddy!
